Sandakan, Sabah

I totally love this small town Sandakan nicknamed 'Little Hong Kong' is full of delicious food from morning till night. Went there twice but still not enough. You really need a local to guide you to this places to find the most delicious food around town. Also the best and some say cheapest seafood can be found here.

Have you ever tried Bah Kut Teh Seafood.. Bah kut teh fish n prawns.
There are 2 kinds of soup that can be ordered.
The normal one or spicy 'pedas' for those who like spicy.

A very special mee called 'Tang giung mian' in hakka dialect with seafood (3 prawns, 2 scallops and 2 fish slice) all either thick or big in size
The same mee with Pork meat wrapped with Pork Skin and the famous 'Pi Tan' dumpling
Egg Tart with a very very thin layer of skin (still hot from oven)Seafood for dinner. Steam 'Lai Mang' fish, scallops, prawns n fried sotongs (squids)

The pasar in Mile 4 has quite a number a food from morning till late night. The must eat is 'You Cha Kui' and kangkung with sotong at tea time.

I have yet to taste the best ABC n satay in town ,also a very smooth Teh C Ping and 'Wang Jiu Tian Chi' (Frog cook with Chinese Rice Wine, good while drinking beer)..... Also forgotten to take pic of the best crab that i've eaten. Hope to go there again soon.

Pulau Tiga

Survivor Season One was held here many years ago in Pulau Tiga.
This is my 1st visit here and it was the best pulau that I have visited so far (better than Pulau Sapi)
Snorkelling was great there. It was my 1st time snorkelling very far out to the sea. Can see fishes and corals but everything was blur to me as I didn't have contact lens.
Not much visitor during our trip here. So we had most of the beach to our own.

Crystal clear water

Is called Pulau Tiga because there will be 2 river that cuts the island (maybe during high tide) to become 3 island

There's a mud bath 1-2km walk from the beach

Christmas gift exchange at workplace

My 1st year joining a Christmas gift exchange event. A few simple guidelines was made so that all the gifts received and given are considered fair to everyone.

1. Gifts are to be above RM15
2. Unisex presents ( Can be used by male or female)
3. Non consumable items
4. Price tag or receipt should be wrapped together with the gift

After searching high and low, I bought a ready made gift from Bodyshop. Quite simple with 3 face towel wrapped in a basket with Merry Christmas wordings.

The day came for the exchanging of gifts. As told by some of my colleagues, a game of exchanging gifts was held.
The game is quite simple to play. Gifts that are open can be stolen.

1. Everyone gathered takes a number.
2. 1st person picks a gift on the table and opens it.
3. 2nd person can choose to steal from 1st person or pick a new gift to open.
4. If the 2nd person decides to steal, then 1st person have to pick a new gift
5. Gifts can be stolen 3 times only. After the 3rd time, the gift will be with its new owner.
6. Gift stolen cannot steal back by same person.
7. 1st and 2nd player gets a chance to steal gifts after the round finishes.

What present i lost. A stylish clock, RM20 Giant gift voucher, a 'hugging couple' to put salt and pepper, a small pillow and a Cadbury full of chocolate ( a forbidden gift coz is edible).

I finally got a Sheaffer pen.
