York

At the middle of the summer course, we were treated to a visit to York by LJMU. York, located in the middle of England, is a tourist attraction city. The town is surrounded by a wall and a few gates for entry purposes.

One of the gates to enter the town. The old map of the town.
Spotted this tower and decided to take a closer look.

What was a fortress, is now left a tower standing tall alone.
The view from the tower. Paid a small fee to enter the tower. (Declan and me rode on the ferris wheel..quite embarrassing haha)

We were fortunate enough to find a once in a lifetime chance to drive a boat. 1 hour boat ride, of course with a small fee to pay shared by the 3 of us. We were given a short lecture on how to drive a boat. But I only remember 1 rule and that is to always keep to the right hand side of the river. It's an international rule if I'm not mistaken. We took a lot of pictures along the way but I'm just sharing some. There's Victor, me and Declan.

After the boat ride, we continue our exploration around town. We managed to get a photo with this guy guarding the entrance to a Dungeon ride.
Before getting on the bus back to Liverpool, we walk the wall surrounding the town. 20minutes walk and we have to back track back to where we came as it seem to be a long way ahead and time is running out.

Blackpool Model Village

Located in the outskirt of the town. We got lost finding this place but after asking around the folks, we finally reach this place. My first thought was what a small shop. Is there anything interesting to look at. Well just look at the photos to see for yourself.

I'm stuck on the windmill. HELP!!!

Have to bend over to fit the background
Someone's getting married

Fun fair going on while someone's doing prison break

Gypsy camp and a cricket game. There's a Mr. Bean with a funny cap

UFO visit

Loius Tussaud, Blackpool

Louis Tussaud is a waxwork museum and a subsidiary of the famous Madame Tussaud if I'm not mistaken. Eventhough is quite small but it's quite worth the money to make visit here in Blackpool.

There's quite a few famous celebrity made of wax here.
Keanu Reeves, Star Wars characters, Arnold S., Marilyn Monroe, Sir Elton John, Angelina Jolie, James Bond, the late Mother Teressa and Princess Diana and many others

Me and Sir Elton John

After an hour or so of seeing all the wax works and taking photos with them, it's time for the scary part of the wax works.
Still remember Freddie from Elm street

Frankenstein
A scene from the movie exorcist (The body starts to lose control when ever anyone comes near it, forgot to take a video of it, such a waste)
This guy is actually real, u can see his skin underneath the mask. After Declan took this pic, the guy moved and tried to scare us. Luckily he suceeded with the help of two screaming ladys behind us.

Blackpool, A Holiday City

Blackpool is a town north of Liverpool, is a place where u would wan to have fun n relax.. This is not a place where u will see people wearing smart attire and rushing to work. No.. This town is a place to have a holiday with anyone no matter the age.

1st thing u need to know is that the town's very quiet in the morning. Shops and amusement centers starts their business as i recall around 10am. We arrived there at 8.00am but the town was like a ghost town except
Mc Donald's opened(haha ate Mc Breakfast before going around the town)

U wont miss the famous Blackpool Tower
Live dancers, shows and casino

Lost a few pounds in this place where gambling is legal
