Manchester, busy town with the world's famous club MU

Manchester, a busy town with the world's famous football club Manchester United, MU for short.
Me and a few of my friends reached Manchester early in the morning and went around town. Nothing much to see. Took a few photos as we walk guided by a map.

Small chinatown area

It's summer, the way to cool down in the middle of town

Can't find a toilet, just use this (MEN ONLY)

After sight-seeing around town in the morning mostly shopping malls, we decided to head for the MU stadium Old Trafford. Just one train ride plus 15-minutes walk and we reach the famous Old Trafford stadium. Didn't get a chance to see the football field as there was a limit for visitors visiting everyday. We were only allowed to visit the museum. Feeling dissappointed we didn't go in the museum (10pounds per entry). We took more photos and shop for MU stuff before we left.

Before we left Manchester, there was a protest on the streets of Manchester. From the banners, you can clearly see that it was a protest against war on Iraq. People of all races and religions join in on the protest.

Liverpool Week 1

What is my first impression of Liverpool?

After a few days sight seeing around town. Well, my conclusion is Liverpool's a great place for retired folks. A place full of culture n heritage. Is the home town to the historic Beatles group.

Beatles Muzeum. Entrance fee around 10Pounds(Less than RM70)
Not much of a Beatles fan so did not enter.

Young women n men seems to dissappear (Too exaggerating, there are still some) in the morning but can be seen when the sun's set when they come out to partey. The night scenes around town r nice.

An old English Pub above (Choo, Victor, Daniel, very friendly boss, Ah Keong, Declan, Me) A very happening pub below

Trip to UK for studies

Left from KL in Emirates Airlines to Manchester Airport. Before that we had to transit at Dubai International Airport, a huge airport if i may say so.
Quite a strict airport, we have to take off our shoes n belts before going through the scanners. By the way, I'm not traveling alone. Have a few close friends with me. Choo, Declan, Me and Victor.

Liverpool at last. We arrived a day earlier (the next day we get our accomodation) to explore a bit of Liverpool. Carrying our heavy luggage to look for a place to stay overnight we went to a look for hostels (especially YMCA) but are all fully booked. Lucky someone introduce us to a house hostel which is cheaper to stay for a night.
